Customize the agreementFill the facts before the clauses
Record each party’s correct name and capacity, an agreed contact method, the date and a description of the service or goods detailed enough to verify delivery. Avoid “as agreed later” for the price, work or term when these are central to the deal. If specifications or milestones sit in an attachment, identify the exact version both sides reviewed. Save a clean original before anyone proposes edits.
A starting passage you can adapt
“On [date], [first party] and [second party] agree that the first party will provide [specific deliverable] by [date] and the second party will provide [amount and payment method] according to [milestones]. Both parties will review delivery within [period] and record any change in writing. If work cannot continue or either side seeks to end it, they will record completed work, outstanding payment and the next step in writing.”
Replace every bracket with a real fact and add terms particular to your situation; never sign an outline with blanks.
